Wow I thought that all the rookies had been imprisioned, afterall I mean, even Trafalgar Law, and Eustass Kid where also wanted for suposedly being in on the attacking of the tenryubito, so I wonder, how is it that none of the rookies have been imprisoned. Because in both the manga, and the anime, Drake, Hawkins, Uruge, and Apoo where defeated by Kizaru. Law, Killer, and Kid duked it out with two or more Pacifista's and yet are still free on the archapelago. Not much was said about Bonney, that fortress mobster guy I can't remember his name.
Anyway, for Kizaru to lose Luffy, and not go back even for the four he defeated is beyond me, he either left without much of a fight, decided to take/capture reyleigh, and succeeded/failed I don't know. or he decided to let them go. But then a question arises as to if Kizaru let them go. Why?
After all he is an admiral, a powerful fighter, and has a rather interesting personality, so I can see it in him to let them go on the account that he was no longer "Interested" but that still has room for doubt especially when he gets "bored" because of that reason alone he attacked Hawkins, which lead to the fight of Drake, Uruge, and even Apoo getting involved. So after he fails to capture Luffy and his crew it seems hard to believe that Kizaru would let the rookies alone just because he was no longer "Interested" in that situation he seems more likley to become "bored" and would go back for the rookies, on top of all that, it is a mystery to me that Sentomaru would let them go as well. Letting them go just seems way out of character unless they have some ulterior motives, but what those are I can only speculate.
If some of you wonder what I am speculating I will say. Kizaru and Sentomaru are doing it hoping to find a more "interesting" challenge from them in the future. They somehow know that the rookies would get involved in the fight with Whitebeard against the marines (At least it is looking that way).
A few others are Kizaru has so much influence over Sentomaru that Sentomaru would obey Kizaru without much question (though that still leaves Kizaru's motive unanswered). Another possibilty is that Kizaru is hoping that they will take out Sengoku and provide Kizaru the ability to move up in rank. Another one that immediatley comes to mind is Kizaru is in league with Dragon's revolutionaries and is doing inside work, but that is at this point extremley unlikely.
Anyway that is my thought, so anyone is welcome to share their opinions and don't be shy.
